Get up and fight!

Jeremiah 51:30

black line“The mighty men of Babylon have forborn to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwellingplaces; her bars are broken.”

This is what the mighty men of Babylon did in time of war. What a pitiful state for a brave man!
In what state have you become a brave man of God? Where do you live, where did you hide and where did your strength sink?

Let’s also read Jeremiah 52: 17-20

black lineAlso the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that was in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans brake, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.

The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.

And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, took the captain of the guard away.

The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.

Doesn’t your heart ache when you see what has been done to the house of the Lord, how it has been plundered by the Chaldeans?

What is the house of the Lord? Where is the house of the Lord? You and I are the house of the Lord, it is in our hearts!

When I hear these words and when I look at myself and those around me, isn’t that how the enemy tries to make me second by second?

Everything the Lord put in me, all these tools had a weight that could not be weighed.

The Lord has placed in me heavy, valuable things. That is why the devil sends every second his Chaldeans to rob me of what I have most precious, of all the things in God whose weight cannot be weighed.

Everything that the Lord has put into a Christian life that has been completely surrendered to Him, the very valuable things are so many that they cannot be weighed.

If the enemies cannot weigh the value that the Lord has placed on a true Christian, can I still weigh, give value to a sister or brother in Christ?

Lights, salt and examples

If the devil tries to rob us Christians through these Chaldeans of everything that the Lord has put in us, how do you think it is to outsiders? To those who do not know Him yet?

They need examples, they need someone to show them the way. They need us Christians to be what we really have to be! Lights, salt, examples that it is possible to be not robbed of all the imprint of God that the Lord has placed in our image, in our heart and in our soul.

It doesn’t hurt when we look around and see how the devil robs people? How much he robs them until they get to the ditches, under the bridges, in the prisons, until they get to sell themselves on the street, to fight husband and wife, does it still hurt when we see how God’s house is robbed?

Yes, Babylon was also in trouble, they certainly found that it was hard, that there was misfortune around them, but look what we read about them.

black line“The mighty men of Babylon have forborn to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwellingplaces; her bars are broken.”

Have you become a Christian in such a state? Do you see how the Chaldeans (pornography, quarrel, hatred, anger, alcohol, drugs) rob all the weight that God has put in His house, but you are no longer able to do anything?

Get up! This is not the state you should be in!

Seek help. Go and confess what the Chaldeans robbed in your house, put it in order, restore the relationship with your Lord and God. Then be a brave man of the Lord, fight for the house of the Lord, by any means and by any way the Lord makes available to you.

Get up, brave one, and fight!

Think if it weren’t for a brave man who would stand up and fight, where would you be today?

With joy,
Oana
