Mother’s Day is coming!
And until March 8, I thought I’d come up with a few messages of encouragement for you, one for each day starting today. I hope you find it useful!
QUOTE
“There is no career nobler than motherhood when it is shown in all its splendor. There is no greater chance than being a mother and in no other field does failure bring more severe penalties than here. How carefully a mother must prepare for such a task!
If a mechanic, who works only with “objects”, has to study at a vocational school; if the doctor, in whose skilful hands human lives will be entrusted, must go through a higher medical school; if a teacher, who contributes to the shaping of a human mind, must be instructed in university, how much more a mother, who shapes the souls of the people of tomorrow, must learn at the highest of all schools and at the greatest Sculptor : God Himself!
Trying to accomplish this task without proper prior training is a tragedy, and the result of such an approach will affect generations in a row.
On the other hand, there is no higher position to which a human being could aspire than that of a faithful mother, a woman of prayer inspired and guided by the Spirit of God.
“The queen who sits on the throne of the house, with the crown on her forehead and the scepter in her hand, in a position in which no person other than her will ever be able to be, is the mother. Her enthronement is final, her reign is unparalleled, and the moral issues of her kingdom are of eternal significance. ”

Fragment from the book Sculpting the Soul, by E.F & L Harvey
I warmly recommend this book written with passion and boldness.
It’s a book about the responsibility that comes bundled with the title of “mom” and “dad.” An encouragement and a guide for parents who are looking to learn how to carve the soul that was entrusted to them so that it will look more and more like the shape for which it was created.
With joy,
