Today I want to tell you about a little boy named Bobi. Bobi was a little boy like many of you.
An unexpected event
One day something very, very bad happened to Bobi. As he crossed the street, a large car hit Bobi.
Many people gathered around him and rushed him to the hospital. The next day he was a little shocked because he woke up in a place he did not know, at the hospital. Looking in the living room, he was glad to see a face he knew.
A friend of suffering
In the next bed was a boy he knew and whose name was Tomi, Tomi was very different. The reason Tomi was so different from Bobi was that Tomi knew the Lord Jesus.
The doctors and nurses were very, very worried because Bobi was badly injured and could die at any time. Tomi thought, “I need to talk to Bobby.” So Tomi began to tell Bobi everything about the Lord Jesus and how good the Lord Jesus was, because Bobi knew nothing about Jesus. He told Bobi about the sky, about the things in the sky and about the fact that there will be no more pain and no more sadness in the sky.
Bobi heard all about the Lord Jesus. Tomi also told him that we just have to ask the Lord Jesus to take us and He will take us to that good place in Heaven. Then he said, “You know Bobi, I heard on the mission where I go to the services that you just have to ask the Lord Jesus to come and live in you.” He told Bobi that our hearts must be prepared and ready to accept Him. Do you remember that Bobi knew nothing about the Lord Jesus? He thought how could such a small boy ask someone so big and strong to live in his heart, he thought that that omnipotent person would not listen to him.
Bobi is very injured, he can’t move or talk too much due to the injuries caused by the accident.
The Visitor
-You know what, said Tomi, I see that every night Jesus comes here in silence, when it is dark, to take all the people who want to go with Him to heaven. You just have to ask for it.
That’s when he just realized that Bobi couldn’t say much because of the pain. -Bobi, you don’t have to say anything if you can’t speak, as long as you put your hand up and want the Lord Jesus to come into your heart and take you, and the Lord Jesus will understand.
Bobi really wanted the Lord Jesus to come into his heart and tried with all his might to raise his hand up, but he fell back down in great pain.
Then Tomi had a brilliant idea, jumped into his bed, took a pillow and put it under his arm, supporting Bobi’s arm with it so that his hand would stay so high.
The next morning when Tomi woke up his hand was still up, but unfortunately Bobi did die. You know what! Jesus understood Bobi’s heart, He knew he was ready to go with Him.
See children Bobi was a child who knew nothing about the Lord Jesus, but as soon as Tomi told him all about Him he wanted to know the Lord Jesus with all his heart. And so he raised his hand to say to Jesus: Yes, Lord Jesus, come into my heart and take me with you to heaven.
Jesus is preparing a special place just for you in heaven.
John 14: 2
”In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you..”
Many children, and even adults, are scared to talk about death. But the Bible teaches that we should not be afraid as long as we have prepared our hearts.
Job 11: 13-15
”If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him”
Let us not be afraid of death children, if we have prepared our hearts and asked the Lord Jesus to be in our hearts, to cleanse our hearts and make them clean. Then we will be like Bobi, so happy to see the Lord Jesus coming to take us.
Do you want to be with the Lord Jesus in heaven one day? Then take the first step and pray for Him to come into your hearts. Ask Him to prepare your hearts so that you will be ready when He comes to take you.
I know that many of you have already given your hearts to the Lord Jesus. Then I want to remind you to be like Tomi, tell your friends about heaven and that they can go one day to see him.
