He was a little boy named Jo.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

One day Jo went into the kitchen, saw the kettle boiling water, and reached for it when his mother shouted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jo, no, you’re not allowed to get your hands on it. Jo replied:
“A mother, I just wanted to see how much water was in the kettle. I didn’t want to do anything wrong.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, Jo stayed around the kettle and even discovered that there was also an oven. He kept spinning around until he started pressing the oven buttons. Jo’s mother shouted again:
-Jo, don’t go to the oven anymore, you’re about to burn the food!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jo, made a long face and left the kitchen. He went to the yard, next to the grill, where he found a large coal and began to carve in it. Jo’s mother was shocked to see him with this big knife in his hand, so she immediately scolded him and told him to put the knife down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jo was very unhappy and even upset with his mother, so he went to his room. In the boredom he put his hand in his pocket: what will he find there? He searched in one of his pockets and found nothing, searched the other, found a nail and started playing with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While playing with this nail, he found a socket and put the nail in there. Immediately an explosion took place in the house, and the light went out, leaving the house in dark.
– Jo, I didn’t tell you not to play, is it dangerous? Didn’t I teach you that?
– Mom, but I just wanted to plug this nail in, I didn’t want to do any harm!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jo’s mother had to go to the power panel to fix the power failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While his mother was on the power panel, busy repairing, she heard Jo talking to himself.
-I always just hear, no, no, no! Then what can I do? How can I play?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jo’s mother thought:
-This is a good opportunity for me to teach my dear child why there are certain things that he simply can not do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When time to sleep came, his mother went to him and kissed him, because Jo liked it when his mother did so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Jo, do you ever wonder why there are certain things you are not allowed to do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jo was surprised, but replied:
-Yes, I wonder!
-Jo, when I tell you not to touch certain things, I am worried about your well-being.
-Jo, do you remember the kettle? If you had picked him up and that hot water had fallen on you or your little brother, you would have been in the hospital with severe burns now, would you have liked it?
-No mom, I wouldn’t have liked it.
-Jo, do you remember that big knife? If you had cut yourself with it, you would have bled a lot.
-Yes mommy, it would have been very painful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– My boy, I don’t even tell you about electricity anymore, you saw how all the lights went out. And Jo, if you play with the oven, you can start a fire and set the whole house on fire. Haaaa, Jo was shocked.
-So Jo, I hope you now understand why I sometimes tell you: no!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mom turned off the light, and Jo fell asleep very quietly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next day when Jo’s mother said, “No!” Jo left with a smile on his face, realizing that his mother cared about him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little friends, who are at home, I hope you understand this story, and when an adult tells you to stop doing something, be thankful because they want to to protect you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Bible it says that we should honor our father and mother in order to live long. A child who is obedient and does what his parents tell him, is a joy for his parents and the whole family lives happily together. Disobedience, on the other hand, hurts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
