Hello everyone!
Those born before the ’90s probably remember our childhood toy, modelino! They were sold everywhere, at every kiosk, at every stall … I remember that we were able to play with them from morning to evening, without getting bored. How sad we were when they broke and how happy we were when our mother gave us the opportunity to buy another one.
Yes, it was at a time when smartphones did not exist and not everyone had a computer at home, there were good times …
Just the thought of the modelino arouses a lot of pleasant childhood memories for you, as it happened to me? See what feelings will try you after you hold it in your hand and start shaping it, I felt like a child again 🙂
The children who participated creating the far-famed modelino were super excited to create them, to decorate them and especially to play with them. I think I will have many visitors eager for a model in the coming days: D
BONUS
*here and there it is also said that they are anti-stress toys for both adults and children
The best part is that this toy can be made at home with a minimum of physical and financial effort.
Below we show you what you need to do this fun, handmade, anti-stress toy -Modelino and how to do it.
Necessary – for one modelino
- a balloon
- flour, about six full tablespoons
- an empty 0.5l bottle
- marker
- some knitting thread / string – what you have at home

how to proceed
1. Take a balloon and inflate it to force the material to expand and be more moldable.

2. To put the flour into the balloon, you need to put the flour in the bottle, inflate the balloon and then connect the inflated ballon to the neck of the bottle. So move up and down until you have transferred all the flour into the balloon.

*CAREFUL! Do not let the air out of the balloon come out quickly, unless you want to take a bath with flour and fill everything around you with flour: D
3. After tying the balloon well, you can start drawing its face with a permanent marker, preferably. If you do not have a permanent marker, you can only redraw his face in as many states as you want.

4. After the marker has dried, you can also put ”hair” on it to make it look funnier. You need two fingers and some thicker knitting thread / string / thread, which you have around the house. We used some recycled string, which was used in construction.

Ready! The simpler it is, the more fun it is. From now on you can watch the children how happy they are to play with our childhood toy.

P.S. Petru said he wants to make a whole modeling family :D, and I can’t wait to see it.
the morale of the game
How wonderful is that by playing with this funny toy we can learn something for our life of faith. It’s as if this toy tells us: -See, just as I let myself be shaped by you in the way you want, so you should let yourself be shaped by God in the way He wants. And know that while you model me to laugh at my appearance, God wants to model you to look more and more like the perfect form in which He wants you to be.
